What’s New, What’s Next @ 200 Lex
In House participated in the New York Design Center’s building wide event introducing new products to the design industry. Some made their New York premier in the In House showroom. A chef demonstration kicked off the introduction of the Subzero BI series with a custom stainless and rift veneer panel. This was followed by the introduction of “Art for Architecture” including stainless steel door inserts in various designs and finishes conceived and produced by Debra Werblud for Caratelli Acciaio Inox s.r.l. of Italy. Additionally, In House introduced its own private vanity line in modern, transitional and traditional styles.

In House Kitchen Bath Home was one of the six sponsors of the second annual New York Home Furnishings & Design Organizations Coalition Summer Social held at The Water Club this year. In House introduced its new Private Custom Vanity line; Robern’s new Uplift Medicine Cabinet with an illuminated interior & built-in night light & de-fogger; and showcased Wood-Mode cabinetry with its new Brookhaven Square Edge Andover raised door style combined with an espresso glaze finish. The event was sold out with many of New York’s top designers attending.

A Taste of Auction Napa Valley in New York
In House Kitchen Bath Home hosted chef Orlando Pagan of Silk’s restaurant from the Mandarin Oriental San Francisco. Chef Pagan did his first New York cooking demonstration in the showroom. Accompanying the internationally inspired food was Garen Staglin of Staglin Vineyards providing a wine tasting of his organically and socially conscious wine selections. Throughout the showroom laptops were placed for a preview of the auction held in Napa Valley in June.

In House Kitchen Bath Home hosted interior design students from the University of Georgia in it’s showroom with a presentation provided by the co-founders Dave Burcher and Michael Markoe. The presentation included such topics as what makes In House the premier showroom in New York; Wood-Mode as the ultimate cabinetry choice; business strategy in the design world; vendor and distributor relations; field networking and the design process for each area of the home. In addition, Vicki Lichtenstein, Kitchen Designer, held a presentation on her expertise in Kosher kitchen design and its range of challenges from small to large spaces in New York.
